I'm with my friend shopping for a single family home right here in Sarasota, and what I've noticed from the real estate agent, she was more interested in talking about herself than interested in the actual client, which was my friend. Never do that when it comes to sales. Take the attention off you and get to learn the customer. She lost the sale right then and there. She was good. She was approachable, nice, friendly, informative, but she kept talking about herself. She showed that she was insecure. She showed that— even after she asked my friend what my friend does, she still pretty much ignored it. So just think about that, guys. Really take the attention off of yourself and find out about the other person.
